Aug. 14th Weigh-In
So, I forgot to take a picture of the scale before I ate breakfast, but I weighed in this morning at 258.0!! That’s a loss of 3.4 pounds. Which is GREAT for me. I (sadly) only got to the gym once last week, but I really tried to eat better and I had no fast food!! Woot!
My goals for the upcoming week are to keep up what I did last week AND go to the gym at least 3 times (I have 2 personal training sessions this week) and be more diligent about journaling my foods every day.

I started…something.
I don’t really want to call it a diet. Well, it started out as a diet, but then I realized how completely sick and TIRED of diets I am. So, for now, I’m just going to be journaling my food in my Lose It app on my phone. I am also trying to make a conscious effort to not eat as much bread and dairy. I think my body doesn’t respond well to those them, so I’m going to see if I can just cut them out for a while.
I have a meeting with a personal trainer today, too. So I’m excited about that. I hope she gets me back in the working out frame of mind. I need to make working out a priority. Like, if I don’t do some sort of physical exercise…I can’t [fill in the blank]. We’ll see how today goes. I’ll post after my training session tonight (if I’m still alive) and let y’all know how it went.

Oh. My. Damn. I knew I’d gained some weight, but this right here is ridiculous! I was JUST 250 like 3 weeks ago! OMG. I’m going to be one of those people where Jerry Springer has to use a crane to lift me out of bed. OMG. All the neighborhood kids are going to laugh and point at me as I waddle through the streets. OMG. Nobody will EVER want to marry me. OMG. I’m literally freaking out right now.

Okay, so I’ve been looking into more natural, homeopathic ways to boost my metabolism and suppress my appetite. I found that people for AGES have been using Apple Cider Vinegar to help with weight loss. I’ve only used it in certain recipes and as a rinse for my hair, but without even trying it, I think it probably works. What do y’all think? Has anyone tried this already?

I’m moving!! You guys know I’ve been making some changes in my life since my mom passed away. So, I’m moving. Basically, I’m ready to get somewhere and settle down. And when I move, I’ll be ready to embark upon this weight loss journey but once again. But for now, where I’m going is still a secret. Stay tuned!!

Weight Watchers WalkIt 5K Challenge
3.43 mi route in New York, NY - Walked with my WW meeting group and my WW buddy. It was fun. And I even jogged into the finish line. WOOT! - Route Mapped on #MapMyRUN
